complete blank cells

I have some blank cells which have to be complete once. Example, same people
have a keys, but all cells doesn't complete,

358 John
John
423 Mery

Can somebody help to solve the problem,

Assuming the missing numbers are in column A.............

Select column A and F5>Special>Blanks>OK

Type an = sign in the active blank cell then point or arrow up the cell above.

Now hit CTRL + ENTER to fill down.

Copy column A and Paste Special>Value>OK>Esc
