Hi:
In my experience in 'installation' of MS Office 2000 is
compatible with XP. However, if the XP is re-installed
due to Crash and the such, ... it's terrible to install
MS 2000, for that I did experience after the Crash.
In my case, the first time installation was very EASY,
like I did on 98.
Then, if your machine is non-altered/changed in any form,
then I bet you could install MS Office 2000 without any
problem.
