Compatiability??

I have upgraded my cpu and tried to use the cam only to
find that it did not work. I bought a new one (Labtec)
and tried to install it. I got half way through the
install and recieved a message that ..."The required
section was not found in the INF." What is stopping it
going on and is there a solution? I have tried many times
and many ways to fix this, and am at wits end. HELP
PLEASE.

An upgraded "CPU" wouldn't make any difference at all. the CPU is the
"Central Processing Unit" i.e. the chip that actually does the computing.
What EXACTLY did you "upgrade"? Was it the Operating System?
 
it is not the cpu that is causing the problem, but
somewhere when i tried to reinstall the camera, it
failed....then when I bought a new one, it failed too.
Somewhere there is a bug in the system. I have tried a
lot of solutions but as yet have had no satisfaction....

Does it say on the box that it is compatible with Windows XP? if not, try
contacting the manufacturer for information.
