I have a chart that I need to use both clustered columns and stacked columns.
I cannot get the stacked columns to group together in a cluster. The X-axis
is the same for both columns that I am trying to cluster.

Unfortunately, there's no easy way to do this.

http://www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme/ExcelTips/Columns.htm shows how to do it
in Excel. It's not really hard, it's just a hassle. You should be able to do
this in PPT's MS Graph because it doesn't rely on code or formulas or
anything -- you just need to stagger your data and create a hidden axis.
