Compacting

Hi,

Any idea how to recover "lost" sent and received messages.
While the Outlook Express was compacting folders, the program stopped
responding 3/4 of the way. I had to terminate the program, after rebooting
the machine, good portion of the messages had been lost.

Check the Recycle bin for files with the folder name and a .dbx or .bak
extension (Example: mymail.dbx or mymail.bak), if you do find some see the
