Compacting Deleted Files

I closed Outlook Express and a box came up with " Can Save Disk Space By
Compacting Deleted Files". I checked, Dont Show Me This Again and checked OK,
now every time i close Outlook Express, a box comes up, Compacting- Deleted
Files and then it stops Responding, " not Responding" this happens every time
i close Outlook Express.
