comp video out - ASUS v9520vs

I am using an ASUS v9520vs. Using the comp video out line
to a TV during computer boot process I can view the dos
screens, however after windows initialises I no longer
have any video output on the composite line!
Anyone have ideas on how to select the video out line on
while XP is running?
