once in awhile my mouse moves like someone has accessed my system i change
passwords (no one knows my pw or information) etc., it doesnt happen alot and
the mouse activity isnt much but noticble
how can i check to see if my comp is being nosed in

Optical mouse or traditional Ball mouse ? and what type of surface
does the mouse sit on ? It's doubtful a pointer movement indicates
an intrusion/violation. Likely the mouse settings may need adjusting
( acceleration level, pointer speed) or a driver update. If you are
using a 3rd-Party firewall that has inbounds/outbounds capability
you would be flagged on any unsolicited network traffic coming in
to the PC. Some Logitech mice with Mouseware support software
will sometimes have abrupt pointer movement, but that problem is
a quick/direct pointer movement, not small moves.

I get that problem with an optical mouse (wired). It moves just very
slightly. Perhaps its responding to below the ground tremors ;-)
Anyhow, my system is clean. If your mouse was moving to the extent of
opening programs then you have a problem, but I don't think a slight
movement is an issue.
If you want to be sure, do a full system scan with your antivirus and make
sure it is up to date. If you have no antivirus be sure to get one, you can
get a free one from www.avast.com
You can also do a free scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ but aware
though that it is not a replacement for having your own antivirus on your
own pc, its just a one off scan and not 24/7 protection.
