Committed Mem being used greater with 256mb vs. 512mb RAM

Why are the committed resources being used greater when we have 256MB of RAM
vs. 512MB.
For example on my embeded image:

With 256MB: Resources used = 151052k out of 222040k
With 512MB: Resources used = 124248k out of 416760k
