Command Promtp closes

I am running XP Pro sevicce pack 2 & when I try to open cmd.exe it opens
briefly and then vanishes. How can I correct this. Also, when the system
boots up it open two copies of windows explorer [My Documents] automatically.

Try running it again via

Start > Programs > Command Prompt > cmd.exe

Have you already ran 2 anti-spyware and 2 anti-virus apps in safe mode?
