Is there a free pdf converter that runs from the command line?
I want to send printer output to a pdf file from within another program.
Thanks

Can't you simple configure the program to use one of the "printer
driver" pdf creators ? I use and recommend PDF995.

Which version? The latest is trialware.

Cheers, Phred.

Yes, it is trialware, but it isn't spyware and merely displays an
advertising banner. As far as I'm concerned, it's effectively freeware.

Trialware isn't freeware. That's because it doesn't continue working
indefinitely. And adware isn't freeware because you pay for it by having
to put up with advertising.

I don't reply to trolls like Andy Mabbett or Doc (who uses sock puppets)
for instance. I filter out all Google Groups posts. No adware, cdware,
commercial software, crippleware, demoware, nagware, PROmotionware,
shareware, spyware, time-limited software, trialware, viruses or warez
for me, please.

John, I normally agree with you but I'm afraid that I consider that not
paying anything for software that has worked every time I use it and
merely displays an advert ONLY when I use it makes it FREEWARE as far as
I'm concerned.

You are entitled to your opinion, but adware has long been considered
off topic in this group by most here. And the price you pay is viewing
the ad. There are other costs than monetary.
