Control Toolbox command buttons have a macro automatically assign to them.
Just double-click the button.

Forms toolbar buttons have the right-click macro command. Unless I have a
specific reason to use a Control Toolbox button I prefer the Forms toolbar
version personally.

Use a button from the Forms Toolbar and you will get the "Assign Macro"

The Control ToolBox button has a "View Code" selection where you enter the code.

I have added a command button to my Excel 2000 worksheet(via control toolbox
toolbar) and I want to assign a macro to it.

Problem is, when I right click on the button I get a menu as expected, but
there is no "assign macro" entry?

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Gord and Jim,

Thank you, I got it.
