Combo box to add records to table

I want to add records to my junction table. I have created a subform with a
combo box, but when I select from the drop down box, nothing happens. Do I
have to build an event procedure? If so, how?
 
You are apparently assuming that we know some things you didn't tell us. For
example, "subform with combo box"... is this for adding the junction
records? Is that combo box bound to a field? Is the form in the subform
control in Data Entry mode? Is there another field on both forms that is the
LinkMasterFields and LinkChildFields? Please clarify, and perhaps someone
can help.
