How do I combine two distribution lists into a single
one. One has 80, the other 100 entries. I can figure
out how to embed one in the other by doing a "select"
from the contacts and selecting the second distribution
list, but I want to be able to see the full list of
individual contact addresses combined in a single list.

There's no simple way to do that. Another reason DLs are more trouble than
they're worth in many cases.
