Combining commands

Would anyone know if there is a way to take two separate commands and
combine them? What I was thinking about was taking the "align vertical"
command and combine it with the "align horizontal" command so that if you
select two different elements you could align them vertically and
horizontally with one command.

Thanks,
Art

Have you tried recording a macro? However, please note that align horizontal
and align vertical only work when you have three objects selected.

Sonia,
Art was right to talk about aligning two elements. Were you thinking
about distribute horizontally and vertically, which only work with three
or more elements?

Art,
Once you've followed Sonia's suggestion, you might want to add your
macro as a toolbar button or menu item in PowerPoint to make it easy to
use. To do this:

1. Go to Tools -> Customize
2. Select the Commands tab
3. Select Macros in the Categories list
4. Drag your new macro to where you want to place a button or menu item
5. Click "Modify Selection" in the Customize dialog box, and change the
name and/or button image
