I need to combine 2 databases into 1. They both have some of the same
fields. Can this be done?

Terry

Not much to go on...

Open one. Use File | Get External ... | Link ... to link to the tables of
the other -- I assume you only want the tables because you mention "same
fields".

More specific description will probably lead to more specific suggestions.

I have a database called data.mdb. In it are 2 sub-databases, I have 2
tables that have 4 fields that exist in both I would like to combine the
tables into one so that I don't have to type in the same information twice.
Or, maybe link them together??

Terry

Did you try my earlier suggestion?

By the way, in Access parlance, there's only one "database" ... that's the
..mdb file itself. Each collection of related data is stored in Access
"tables" ... there's no object known as a "sub-database".
