Com-Port Problem

Hello

I have a Problem with a Com-Port. It is a built-in Com-Port in a Notbook.

The Com-Port works mostly fin. But, if we make a test an query the data
from the object connectet to the com-port I get the message: "Didn't get
the ack." What can be the reason for this?

This is what "ack" means.

I know what ACK means. But, I have no idea, what the reason for this
problem could be...
