Column limits on queries

Hi there,
I am creating a query that requires multiple conditions. I was able to
insert additional columns and when I was done with my query, I saved it and
the Access application. When I opened the database, the columns that I've
added are gone ('quite frustrating actually!).
Does anyone know if there is a limit as to the number of columns one could
use when building one query?

Go to Access Help.
Search on "Specifications".
Click on "query".
This will list all of the query specs and limits.
