Column Headings

I'm using Excel 2002

I've managed to get the column headings stuck on numbers,
as well as the row headings, and I really want the column
headings back as letters, so it's easier to differentiate.

Can someone tell me where the option is, please?

Tools>options>general uncheck R1C1 reference style
