I have a calender set up as a table, with date cells
highlighted in different colours. When I print the table
the colours dont show - is there any way of getting the
colours to print? Thanks
Each visitor can turn the printing of background colors on
or off. It's a browser setting.
You might have better luck using a solid-color background
picture rather than a background color, but I seem to
recall problems with older versions of Netscape ignoring
these.
The fall-back would be to display a colored dot in each
cell, as well as the background color. That way, at least
the dots will print. If you make each color dot a
different shape (such as round, square, triangle, ...) and
include a legend, this will also help visitors who have
black-and-white printers.
