I had to reload windows 2000 pro to my computer. When I
did it came up with only 16 colors, so I can not see
pictures just outlines. How can I increase the color
palate?

Install the video drivers from the mother board CD or if you have a seperate
graphics card install the drivers from that CD

Install the correct drivers for your graphics adapter.

Go to the manufacturer's web site and download the current driver for the
visdeo adapter.
Go to device manager and click update driver and point to the new driver.
