Color Labeling Appointments

We are a small office and all of us have edited our labels to be exactly the same. However, when I set up appointments and the other users accept them the label assigned to the appointment doesn't show up on their calendar? Any ideas?
 
Are you using Exchange as your mail server? (I don't think it matters, but
it's worth asking.) I know that iCalendar meeting requests do not carry
color label information.
