color code a state however I need 2 colors

Im doing a presentation of the united states showing sales territories. Some
states are split and I need to represent the division with 2 seperate colors.

Is this possible?

Copy one of the states, paste it on the slide, and then right-click and see
if you can get to "edit points." If so, cut the state in half (well,
eliminate/move some of the points) using the information at
http://www.echosvoice.com/beziercurves.htm
