collumns to rows & vice-versa

I need to turn collumns to rows and rows to collumns in a
spreadsheet.
example:
ABC
123
should be turned to:
A1
B2
C3
How do I do that???
 
Copy, select a cell where you want the first value, edit>paste special and
check transpose

Paint the 6 cells and select copy. Move to a new cell and
select paste special, check the Transpose box and hit
enter. Should do it.
