How do you get collate to stay unticked in the Print dialog in Excel ?

If you untick it in Word it stays unticked but in Excel it stays
ticked the next time you use Print even if it's during the same
session let alone the next time you use Excel or load a particular
file. We'd like collate to be normally off, not on.

AFAIK, you can't change this default setting in Excel. You could record
a macro that sets Collate to False, and prints the file.

Thanks Debra. I was beginning to expect that answer. It does seem a
rather stupid design decision, if it was a decision at all. Just
another example of how inconsistent Office programs still really are
in funny little ways and after all the versions we've had.
