I seem to recall that it was Sco Scofield that has the best coding for
calculations in Access:

Useful Metric Conversions:

8 nickels = 2 paradigms
1 billion billion picolos = 1 gigolo
2 monograms = 1 diagram
453.6 graham crackers = 1 pound cake
10 cards = 1 decacards
1 millionth of a fish = 1 microfiche
100 rations = 1 C-ration
10 millipedes = 1 centipede

.. . . et cetera.

The question is a little too general, Sam. There isn't one coding to do
calculation, there are many different approaches to performing many
different types of calculation, in many different contexts. You'll need to
be more specific about what you want to do, and in what context you want to
do it - e.g., in a query, a form, a report, or a data access page.

Nope. 1 deca = 10. Therefore, 1 decacards = 10 cards.

You must be thinking of "deckofcards," not "decacards." ;-)

That's brilliant! I forwarded it on to the other analysts around here.
Occasional bursts of laughter alert me when they open their mail.

Thanks for that,

I agree with RD, that's "sum" funny stuff. I had to wipe the tears from my
