I recorded a video from a Satellite Card (SkyStar 2) in mpeg format ... The
file is well played by RealONE and WinDVD ... but when I play it on Windows
Media Player The Audio end Video Stream are slow (like !/" play) ... If I
Drag&Drop the file into Windows Movie Maker it can't be imported because a
not-installed codec is required ...
Any ideas ?
Thanks

I would say in post "(like 1/2 play)" ...

Playback/importing of MPEG2 content is completely dependant on the third
party MPEG2 decoder installed on your computer. Most do not work well. See
the Importing Source Files... Video... MPEG2 page of www.papajohn.org

Or better I wuold say .. where can I find a free MPEG 1,2,4 decoder on the
net ???
Thanks

MM2 includes support for MPEG1 files.

MPEG2 decoders are not free, but some have a free trial period. Try using
TMPGEnc for it's trial period... link on my CD Burning > Introduction page

I'll let others suggest MPEG4 decoders... it's too complex without knowing
your source of MPEG4 files.
