On the my Cloudmark website they offer Immunet 3.0 antivirus for $24.95.
Is it worth it?

Ken Blake said:I've never heard of it, and that's one of the reasons I wouldn't buy
it. The other reason is that there are three very good free
anti-viruses:
Avira AntiVir
Avast
Microsoft Security Essentials
Having never heard of Immunet, my very strong guess is that all of the
above three are better.

VanguardLH said:Only if you compare the payware versions is Avira very slightly better
(as measure at av-comparatives.org). For the freeware versions, Avast
is better as it covers more infection vectors. While both are adware,
Avast is much less in-your-face adware (you'll see the ads in the config
UI) whereas Avira requires workarounds to get rid of the load-time
banner along with the popup ad window during updates.
