Closing multiple windos

Please help!!! I often have more than one window open at time. Up until
yesterday, I could just close each window individually. Now, when I close
any of the windows, they all close. How can I fix it so I can close one
window at a time again?

You talking about "File Explorer" windows, or "Internet Explorer" windows?

If it is the later, are you on Internet Explorer 7, supporting "Tabs"?

If it is "File Explorer", have you done Virus Checking, SpyWare Checking,
etc?

I don't know if there is a keyboard press to allow you to close this (I did
a quick search on Google, but nothing turned up) but if there is, and that
key is depressed and stuck that might be it... have you got access to
another keyboard to plug in a test?

I am referring to Internet Explorer windows. I have virus protection and
scanned just yesterday - nothing turned up.
