Is there any way to stop users from closing access using the application
close button. I have a few users who are a little gung ho when closing access
- as much as I have explained the problem to them. I have the option to quit
on each form and also in a custom menu bar, but all that is not much good if
they can just click the X.

Thanks for any help

Hi,

I use these techniques. They work great.
Take your pick based on version.

ACC: How to Disable the Close Button (X) on the Access
Application Window (95/97)

ACC2000: How to Disable the Close Button (X) on the Access
Application Window

ACC2002: How to Disable the Close Button (X) on the Access
Application Window and the Exit Command on the File Menu

Alternatively, take a look here:

Hope that helps,

Thanks a lot!
