closing a spurious folder in outlook 2003

Hello,

In my folder view I have a folder which I cannot close or delete. If I left
click, I get an error message "The set of folders could not be opened - show
help". But help is not helpful. If I right click and select "close folder",
I get "The operation failed. Object could not be found".

What else can I try?

I am using Outlook 2003

If the right-click>Close method doesn't work, then try File>Data File
Management. If that doesn't work, you need a new mail profile.
