Hi:
I tried to clone by using 'Norton Ghost' in the past, but
I could not accomplish it.

In the meantime, I did a lot of 'back-up' by using 'Back-up'
program along with saving in the Memory Sticks(2 GB).

However, I still want to 'clone.'

Wonder which program would recommend to a novice like me
who has no experience on this?

Thanks,

If you have the Ghost 2003 version I can provide you with step-by-step
instructions for using that program to clone the contents of one HDD to
another HDD. We've never been thrilled with either the Symantec Norton Ghost
9 or 10 versions, but the 2003 version generally works just fine in a XP
environment for disk-to-disk cloning. In using the Ghost 2003 program we use
a Ghost bootable floppy disk (easily prepared from the program) or a Ghost
bootable CD to undertake the disk cloning process. We do not use Ghost's
Window interface since we've found it unreliable. So you do need a floppy
disk drive to create the bootable floppy disk (in order to create the Ghost
bootable CD you first need the Ghost bootable floppy disk).

Another excellent disk cloning program is the Acronis True Image one. You
may want to try that one out. Acronis has a 15-day trial version available
at
http://www.acronis.com
I can also provide you with step-by-step instructions for using that program
as well.
