Clipboard recovery

Hi, I copied a phone number out of MSN Messenger, closed messenger and then
before updating the contacts register copied something else. Is there some
way of recovering the phone number form the clipboard?

Unfortunately not. Once something else is 'copied', the previous data is
released from memory. If anyone knows otherwise let us know, thanks.

Short answer, no.

Long answer, if you happen to have an app open that remembers clipboard
history (Microsoft Office being one example) then MAYBE, but probably
not.
