Jimbo

I need to configure my firewall to restrict Internet access for
certain users. However, they _should_ be allowed access to Windows
Update, so I want to enable outbound firewall openings only for the
required IP ports.

Microsoft's knowledgebase has great information re inbound openings
for most of its products, but I could not find the inforamtion related
to outbound Windows Update connections.

Can anyone help in this regard?

Thanks,

Jim

Windows Update requires both ports 80 and 443 to be open for both
for incoming & outgoing traffic.
