Clearing History in IE

I am running Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2.

I go into Options, Delete Cookies, Delete History, and
Delete Files. However, if I click on the History button I
still see sites I have been to.

NOTE: When I am doing this I have NO other applications
running.

How do I delete ALL references to any and all sites I
have visited?
