hello
I have a problem with Windows XP clean manager.
It starts, it works for about 10 seconds, and then crashes ... and by
crashes I mean it does a nasty thing : uses the system resources at maximum
(like CPU time ... ) . If I hit cancel, it closes , but the process still
remains running and still uses CPU at 100%.
Doing some monitoring on the running process , I noticed, that the Kernel
times, are ok, while the CPU time goes off the roof. Also , no I/O
reads/writes are being made, while the CPU time is at 100%.
The memory / virtual mem. used is acceptable (normal): 5-8 MB.
Is there any way to reinstall the damaged cleanmgr ? Or any solution would
be helpfull
Thanks in advance
