Cleaning off several Win XP installs and Boot Disks

I'm working on a computer that has different versions of Win XP installed
several times. I changed setup to boot from CD, reformatted and installed
with no problem, but, on startup it still shows 4 version options to boot
from so apparently reformatting didn't clean that off. So I decided to do
obtain a boot disk, but there's no floppy drive.
The last install is good, but how do I get rid of all the previous installs?
I haven't tried saving boot files to CD, didn't think it would work.

Try msconfig...boot.ini tab...check all boot paths.

The most overlooked advantage to owning a computer is that if they foul up
there's no law against wacking them around a little.

Thanks for the info. I checked all boot paths in msconfig....boot.ini.....it
removed 3 of the boot paths and changed it to selective startup. When I
change it back to normal startup, the additional boot paths come back. Do I
have to leave it in selective startup?

Yes
