The Prankster

I have recently upgraded to Windows XP from Win 98. When I was using 98 my
burner worked fine. Since the upgrade anything I try to burn crashes
halfway through the burn process. I have a 1Gb AMD prcessor with 384 Mb of
RAM. The burner is a Cicero 52x24x52 burner. I have tried several
different burning apps as well as different media brands.

Is ths a problem with XP or is it my burner?

Is there a specific driver I need?

Thanks in advance.

Rt click on MyComputer>select Prop>Hardware>Device Manager>Dvd/Cdrom
drives. Rt click on yours
and choose Uninstall. Also, if you know which IDE Channel your
Burner is connected to then select
IDE/ATA Controllers and rt click on the Primary or Secondary IDE
channel and choose uninstall.
Restart and let WinXP reinstall them.
