When trying to send an email during an internet session, I lose the
connection when I click on "send" and am invited to "connect". Would
appreciate help with this problem.

I would suggest you post this message in the appropriate newsgroup for
your internet program.
The Access in this newsgroup's title refers to Microsoft Access, a
database program.
