Choosing Details for Files/Folders

How do you make the details selected to deploy for files in a folder, e.g.
Name, Size, Created, etc. visible every time the folder is opened? For
example, how would you make the "Created" file description a permanent entry
when "Arrange Icons by" is clicked on? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Open Windows Explorer>View and select Details.
Now click Tools>Folder Options> View tab and click.
Apply to all folders, and reset all folders.

Thank you for the very helpful information. This was something (albeit not
something that was a great hindrance) that has bothered me for years. It
seems I had tried the "Apply to All Folders" once before but it didn't work
for me then. Anyway, thanks again for the enlightenment.
