choose word version

hi there,
i have been getting an error message........word will close due to error " mswrd832.cnv. "
it seems some of my word docs open with word for windows 6.0--and now when i try to open
any new word doc (recvd via email) i get above message...i have not had this problem in
the past. pleeze help!

The file mentioned is the converter for the Word 95 file type (that is pretty much
like Word 6.0). Since this used to work, I'd say the converter has been damaged.

you might try moving this file from its present location, then run a "Change" type of
setup from Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel (or Help/detect and repair from
within Word). With any luck, Word will notice that the converter is missing and
reinstall it from the CD.
