I'm having this problem with winxp:
When I open any media file (mp3, wma, avi, mpg, etc.), I get the "Open
with" dialog box. I highlight my preferred player for these files
which in this case is JetAudio, and then I click "always use the
selected program to open this kind of file".
The file will play correctly, but the next time I try to open the same
type of file, I get the "Open with" dialog box again!
I've already told windows which program to use for these files, why do
I have to do this everytime I try to open a file?
This only seems to happen with media files, not word, excel,
powerpoint, or anything else.
It doesn't matter if I select JetAudio for the files or if I select
Windows Media Player...same thing happens everytime I try to open the
same type of file.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thank you.
