I ran my normal Disk Defrag.. all of a sudden I get this CHKDSK that starts
up as a schedule task after I rebooted..

is there any way to eliminate it... without going into the registry as I'm
not too confident about changing it....and if that's the only way is there a
chance I could mess things up badly.. also, I don't have it as a Scheduled
Task..

any help appreciated..

Please help.....my cursor jumps to the beginning, my mouse wont go back to
where I was and recycle bin opens instead of the interent.

thanx much Rick.. got it.. :)

Hi,

Click start/run, type cmd and click ok. From the prompt, run chkntfs /d

If that fails to work, check also:
