chkdsk /f protocol?

Maybe I am just blind to find it in the help files but does chkdsk /f
have a protocol file if it is running after reboot? I really would like
to know if it finds something but as the check is usually a good time
for a coffee break I miss the whole bit. Is the output of chkdsk during
reboot saved somewhere???

Thx,

Gerald

Open Event Viewer and look for an entry in the Application
section with Winlogon as the Source and 1001 for the Event ID.

Good luck

Thanks a lot! Found it! What a fool I have been not to expect something
like a chkdsk protocol under an application name like winlogon... ;-)
