Chk dsk and defrag problems

When I try to defrag I get a messsage saying Disk Defrag has
detected that Chcdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: (D). Please run
Chcdsk/f. but the problem is everytime i start my computer its runs chk dsk
and even then i get the same message at defrag can anyone help me solve this
issue

Make sure that at a command prompt you run chkdsk /f (with a space in front
of the /). Restart your computer and tell us what happens.
