Dear All,
Hi from Shanghai. I have bought a new USB flash drive, 128MB, Lenovo brand,
but there is a file on it I suspect to be a virus. Everytime I delete the
file it change of name and come back under another; names are in chinese,
and some of them are Japan, Chicago, Popo, West Day, Look for Q etc., that
is to say very random. When I check it with Avast Antivirus no reaction but
with Chinese antiviruses on my classmate PC there is a tic. The file doesn't
go no matter the format or the delete procedures.
I hope you will first to understand what is it and second how to get rid of
it.
Thanks!
Patrick

Pls read " I hope you will first help me understand what it is and second
give me a way to get rid of this stuff"....

Can you copy the filename(s) (using file explorer) and paste it into a
message?

Further, it would be unlikely that files on the flash drive could
execute by themselves... in most cases, these files could be related to
the operation of the drive, but, more likely, are being written there by
a program on a PC that you have plugged it into.
