Hello ;
I have the following problem with Windows 2000
professionnal 5.0.2195 Service Pack 3 Build 2195 : when I
restore child windows in Excel (2000 9.0.6926 SP-3), and
then want to maximize it back, the child window expands to
the maximum possible place, but it stays to a restored
state : minimize, maximize and close buttons are still on
the child window's title bar, which is not merged with
Excel's menu bar ; the title of the Excel book is not
merged in Excel's menu bar neither ; in one word the child
window is at a plain restored state, even if it changes
size and position.
The problem is the same with Visual Basic for Applications,
of both Word and Excel. It does not occur with Word child
windows, but I suppose this is because Word child windows
are displayed another way. I must precise that I feel that
it came after the same problem with Access 97 Runtime child
windows. Finally, I noticed that I can maximize child
windows normally when booting W2K in safe mode. When back
in normal mode, child windows are displayed maximized, but
the problem comes back as soon as you restore a child
window. Of course it doesn't disappear by just restarting W2K.
I apologise for the message's length, and thanks in advance
for your help !
