Hi all
The scenario
Laptop - WinXP SP2 Windows Firewall OFF
Checkpoint SecureClient
Office 2003 Pro
At home Broadband via NAT router (draytek vigor 2600)
Work Checkpoint FW1 with Windows server 2003 and Exchange 2003.
Problem
When I connect to the work LAN via VPN I can access all the file servers and
intranet and everything is fine except outllook on my laptop not connecting
to the exchange server.
In the SYSTEM log I get the following Error - I have removed server name for
security reasons.
SYSTEM LOG ERRORS
Cat: SPNEGO SOURCE: LSASRV
The Security System could not establish a secured connection with the server
exchangeMDB/****. No authentication protocol was available.
also
The Security System detected an attempted downgrade attack for server
exchangeMDB/****. The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was
"There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.
(0xc000005e)".
Outlook eventually times out. From time to time I get the odd connection and
my inbox is updated then it fails again.
According to the link (visit the MS web site) it says user action should not
be required as it will have fixed itself. But it isnt.
I hope someone can help its been a problem for a while it was a problem
before my SP2 install as well.
Thanks
Tone
