(Checkmark) Excel 2000 vs Word 2000

I can set a hot key for a checkmark to check things off on
a table in Word and this is very easy but I can't find
anything just as easy in Excel. I am just to stubborn
to find a font with a check mark and paste in a cell on my
ducument and copy that everytime I need it, , ,

can anyone enlighten me??

Wrong group. Just because you're running Excel under XP doesn't make this
the correct place to post. Please repost to an Office or, better yet, a
dedicated Excel group.
