Checking for Updates

When I try to check for updates, I get a message that
says "Warning! Could not connect to the internet." I am
on the internet when trying to do this. "Updates have
failed. Auto updater could not detect an internet
connection." Any suggestions on how to correct this
problem or what is happening?

Is this a persistent issue, mean does it happen everytime you lanch
antispyware. I would recommend try shutting it down from the system tray.
Restart computer, launch AntiSpyware and try again.
